Activities
Most of our activities are run on a drop-in basis and registration is not required. There is no charge unless otherwise noted.
New Moms’ Group –
Monday and Wednesday
Getting out and about with a new baby has its challenges, but it is so important for a new mom. Stop by Mama's Hip during this group to meet other new moms and talk about what's on your mind. Topics of conversation tend to include sleep(or lack of it!), breastfeeding, babywearing and more.
Playgroup(six-twelve months) -
Tuesday
This playgroup is perfect for the newly mobile babies - the rollers, cruisers and crawlers! They love watching each other and exploring new places. And the mamas(papas or any caregiver) can enjoy some adult conversation - about the babies or not. Topics include starting solids, baby sign and new milestones.
Parent/Child Music Classes (birth-5 years) $7 –
Louisville Preschool for the ARTS
Monday and Wednesday
Each 40-minute class is appropriate for children up to age 5. Younger children learn by observing and emulating older children, and older children learn by guiding younger children. A typical class includes singing, storytelling, improvising, moving, tonal and rhythm exercises, and experimenting with instruments.
$7 per class, per child. Cash and checks accepted
Please note that caregivers must be present.
